Every clock that is brought to our workshops are repaired & restored using tried & tested methods, every clock movement is completely dismantled inspected repaired as necessary.
Then all parts are cleaned & polished, the clock movement is then put back together lubricated & put on test for a few weeks in that time it will be checked making sure its working as it should be.
While the clock is on test it will be regulated this insures when you get your clock back it is keeping good time.
This is how we repair or restore every clock, we make no exceptions to this no matter what type of clock weather a humble carriage clock or a rare Grandfather clock, our belief is simple there is only one way & that is the right way & our many 5 star reviews prove the point. We are passionate about our horological past & believe that attention to detail & good practice are essential, many clocks that come to our workshops have been around for over 150 years, our attitude is if repaired & restored correctly they should be around for many more years to come.
