This is a circa 1900 Railway Clock and is around 12″ in diameter with a spring-driven movement regulated by a pendulum. It also has a fusee which is a method used in many clocks of this type to improve the accuracy of the clock.
The movement is of heavy brass construction and is of good quality. The clock has been fully dismantled and all pivots have been cleaned and polished. There were a few pivot holes that needed re-bushing and we also replaced the main spring.
The clock is then put on test and regulated in order to achieve the best timekeeping possible.
