This is a very fine example of a c1960 clocking on time recording clock, the movement is of very high quality, and this heavy construction was a must as these clocks had a very important role in the factories of Great Britain of the past ensuring the workforce arrived on time. They often clocked 100s of people in & out of the factory on a daily basis so would not be treated with the respect they deserved.
Now these clocks are very collectable & good examples are becoming more difficult to find, the cases are also of heavy oak construction about 4ft in height & when Restored are a very beautiful piece of furniture, this is just the movement as the case would remain fixed in place & the movement only is brought to our workshop.
