This very fine example is a bracket clock by Robert Roskill of Liverpool around 1820.although they where Clockmakers they also retailed clocks from there premises at 21Church Street Liverpool, Robert Roskill entered into partnership with John Roskill around1805 he also then employed his son Robert JR around 1825.Roskell also made watches & there are many fine examples of his craftmanship.

The double Fusee movement has been brought to our workshops for service it also does have problems that will be repaired during the process , the movement will be fully dismantled serviced & repaired & it will give many more trouble free years of service. Clocks of this era where always very well made there are no parts available for mechanical clocks anymore but we have the skills & equipment needed to make most of the parts we need.
